Project management in Burp Pro

One significant practical difference between Burp's free Community version and Professional version is the ability to create audit projects. In the Community version, every time you open Burp, a new temporary project is created. The Professional version allows for better management of long audit projects, as all the work you have done for a specific project remains saved.

Creating Projects

When you open BurpSuite Pro, it offers the possibility to create a temporary project, create a project in a file on disk, or open an existing project.

After this, BurpSuite will ask you if you want to load Burp's configurations from a file. You can create a configuration file like this by going to Burp's settings and saving your current settings assuming you have made any changes to them.
